The role
Telecom operators deliver to ther customers Value Added Services using technological content provided by Third Part (Content & Service Provider).
As the number of Third Part to interface and manage, the operator needs to provide infrastructure solutions and processes designed to aggregate services and processes to third part, to concentrate, verify and mediate them in a controlled manner to its network.
This role of aggregation, mediation and control is increasingly being delegated to qualified HUB / Outsourcer.
The provider operating in this role must ensure the stable and constant updating, in line with the evolution of the Operator offer, of a Service Centre of operating on the one hand, as an interface to the C&SPs (Content & Service Providers) and, and on the other hand as an interconnection network of the technologies that enable the provision of VAS services (e.g. voice, SMS and other channels of access and delivery).
The service logic may reside at the HUB/Outsourcer, with contents provided by an external CP or configured to reside at the same BSP (Broker Service Provider), configured as an internal C&SP.
The BSP shall ensure full compliance to the rules and regulations within the SLA of customers for which the Operator operates, in terms of delivery and mediation.
